Kali started his career teaching languages in 2006 in Brazil after living 2 years in Canada. It was in 2008 that he moved to China to learn Mandarin and teach English and Portuguese in Beijing.

In 2010 He moved to Australia, where he studied International Business and Marketing at Macquarie University.
